Opportunity Wisconsin in a new digital ad is knocking U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil for being “part of a group that wants to cut Social Security and Medicare.”
It’s part of a seven-figure buy across the state that includes a 30-second broadcast TV ad airing in Milwaukee this week knocking Steil for voting against a measure to cap insulin prices, according to the Dem group.
The ad features a Wisconsin National Guard veteran of the Iraq war who criticizes the Janesville Republican for “pushing huge tax breaks for big corporations.”
“I earned my Social Security and Medicare benefits,” he says. “Bryan Steil should not be able to take those benefits away.”
