“Since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the constitutional right to abortion, Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin has increased its commitment to providing contraception, from birth control to vasectomies to connecting patients with legal abortion services in other states. Establishing a constitutional right to contraception in Wisconsin is an important step towards reproductive freedom and will further PPWI’s ability to provide affordable and quality healthcare.”
Despite the loss of abortion access in WI, PPWI’s health centers remain open across the state and access to these crucial services is more important than ever – PPWI is here to empower people with information and access to health care including contraception like birth control and vasectomies, cancer screenings, gender affirming care and miscarriage management services.
