MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Judge Janet Protasiewicz today announced the endorsement of Representatives Gwen Moore and Mark Pocan for her campaign for Wisconsin Supreme Court.

“The Wisconsin Supreme Court has a duty to follow the law and uphold our constitutional rights, not to be beholden to extreme politicians and special interests. That’s why we need to elect Judge Janet Protasiewicz to the bench.” said Congresswoman Gwen Moore. “We can trust Judge Janet to always follow the law, protect our rights, and stand on the side of justice. With so much at stake in this race, we can’t afford to elect an extreme, right-wing justice like Dan Kelly to the court.”

“After more than 25 years as a prosecutor and nearly a decade as a circuit court judge, Janet Protasiewicz has earned a reputation for always upholding the law and protecting the rights of everyone in our state. We need Judge Janet on the Wisconsin Supreme Court and I’m proud to endorse her,” said Congressman Mark Pocan. “Today, extreme right-wing justices have turned the court into a partisan machine, making decisions based on their own agenda, not the law. Dan Kelly is a partisan extremist who even advised the Republican Party on how to overturn Wisconsin’s 2020 election results — having him back on the court would threaten our democracy and the rights of every Wisconsinite.”

“I’m grateful to have the support of Congresswoman Gwen Moore and Congressman Mark Pocan. Everyone in Wisconsin deserves a Supreme Court that follows the law, not partisan beliefs. That’s why I’m running and why we’ve earned support from every corner of Wisconsin,” said Judge Janet Protasiewicz.

Judge Janet Protasiewicz has earned the endorsement of more than 1,000 community leaders, judges, elected officials, and attorneys across Wisconsin. She is also endorsed by current Wisconsin Supreme Court Justices Ann Walsh Bradley, Rebecca Dallet, and Jill Karofsky. Visit janetforjustice.com/endorse for a full list of her supporters.
