Madison, Wis. – Today Assembly Minority Leader Greta Neubauer announced the appointment of Representative Deb Andraca (D–Whitefish Bay) to the Legislature’s Joint Committee on Finance. Rep. Andraca will fill a vacancy created by Rep. Evan Goyke, who is stepping down after serving on Joint Finance since 2019. Rep. Andraca issued the following statement:

“I am incredibly grateful to Rep. Evan Goyke for his distinguished service on the Joint Committee on Finance. He leaves a legacy of balancing intelligent financial oversight with thoughtful, good-natured critiques that will be missed by all. I look forward to working with my fellow committee members to help ensure our state’s spending decisions are transparent, fiscally responsible, and representative of the majority of Wisconsin citizens.”

Rep. Andraca will continue to serve on the Assembly Committees on Education and Forestry, Parks and Outdoor Recreation.

Representative Andraca was elected in 2020 to serve the 23rd District in the State Assembly, which includes the northern suburban Milwaukee communities of Bayside, Brown Deer, Fox Point, Mequon, Thiensville, River Hills, and Whitefish Bay.
