[Madison, WI] – Yesterday evening in the Wisconsin State Assembly Chamber, State Representative Calvin Callahan (R-Tomahawk) and members of the 106th State Assembly were sworn into office for a two-year term. Last November, Rep. Callahan was re-elected to represent the people of the 35th Assembly District. This will be his second term in the Assembly.
“Thank you for trusting me to be your voice down in Madison once again,” stated Rep. Callahan. “I am both honored and humbled to have this opportunity to continue serving my constituents. Whatever issue comes before me this session, I look forward to working with my legislative colleagues to find solutions that will positively impact northern Wisconsin and folks in the 35th.”
This session, Rep. Callahan will serve as Chair of the Assembly Committee on Consumer Protection. He will also serve as Vice-Chair of the Assembly Committees on Insurance and Forestry, Parks and Outdoor Recreation, and as a member of the Assembly Committees on Corrections; Labor and Integrated Employment; Sporting Heritage; State Affairs; and Ways and Means.
