MADISON, Wis. – Today, Representative Sue Conley (D-Janesville) was sworn in and began her second term in the Wisconsin State Assembly.

Representative Conley released the following statement:

“I am humbled by the support and encouragement I received from the Janesville community. I will continue to do my best to represent City of Janesville residents during my time in the Wisconsin State Assembly.

I look forward to working with Governor Evers and my colleagues on both sides of the aisle. It is my hope we can work collaboratively this session for the people of Wisconsin. I am also eager to get to work on my assigned committees. People across the state are facing real challenges and I am ready to dive into policy that will benefit Wisconsinites everywhere. I will serve as the Ranking Member on the Assembly Committee on Ways and Means and the Joint Committee for Review of Administrative Rules, and will also serve on the Family Law, Local Government, and Sporting Heritage Committees.

I thank the people of Janesville for once again putting their trust in me. It is an honor to serve as your State Representative.”

Representative Conley was first elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly in 2020 for the 2021-2022 term.
