MADISON – The Wisconsin Legislative Black Caucus will host a Black History Month Press Conference on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at 12pm. The press conference will be held at the State Capitol on the 1st Floor Rotunda. DFI Secretary-designee Olson-Collins, Secretary-Designee James Bond of Wisconsin’s Department of Veterans Affairs, The Honorable Judge Everett Mitchell and other dignitaries will be in attendance as well.

“Black history is Wisconsin history, and Wisconsin history is black history. February allows us the chance to celebrate our history in this great state, and I want to thank everyone for all their hard work to put the events this month together. I encourage people to make time and attend our events throughout the month,” Rep. Drake, the Chair of the Legislative Black Caucus stated.

Throughout February, members of the Legislative Black Caucus will be hosting events in Madison and Milwaukee to celebrate Black History Month. Listed below are the member’s events:
