Madison – State Representative Karen Hurd (R-Fall Creek) is pleased to accept a position in the Council of State Government Midwestern Legislative Conference’s Energy and Environment Committee.
The binational Midwestern Legislative Conference Energy and Environment Committee was established in late 2022 and met for the first time in July 2023. The committee membership constitutes legislators from Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio, Wisconsin, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario.

I look forward to working with the rest of the committee on matters developing policy resources, as well as exchanging ideas, and learning about key developments and innovations in the areas of energy and the environment.”
