KENOSHA, Wis. – This week, the Joint Committee on Finance approved a $400,000 grant through the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship program for Horizon Park in the City of Kenosha. Representative Tip McGuire made the following statement about the grant approval:

“I am thankful to my colleagues on the Joint Committee on Finance for their approval of this grant proposal. Horizon Park is one of the many wonderful outdoor spaces in the 64th Assembly District, and these funds will help beautify the area even further.”

The Knowles-Nelson Stewardship program was established in 1989 to ensure that Wisconsin’s natural resources are preserved for the enjoyment of our residents today and for generations to come.
