MADISON, Wis. — Today, Assembly Democratic Leader Greta Neubauer (D-Racine) announced her appointment of Representative Deb Andraca (D-Whitefish Bay) to serve on the Joint Committee on Finance for the remainder of the 2023-2024 legislative session with Representative Tip McGuire (D-Kenosha). Rep. Andraca will fill a vacancy created by Representative Evan Goyke (D-Milwaukee), who is stepping down after serving on the committee since 2019.
Rep. Neubauer released the following statement:
“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to appoint Representative Deb Andraca to the Joint Committee on Finance for the remainder of the 2023-2024 legislative session. Rep. Andraca has proven herself to be an effective leader, powerful communicator, and deeply determined legislator. I am sure she will continue to serve her community, our caucus, and our state with distinction as she takes on this new role.
“As Representative Evan Goyke completes his service on the committee, I would like to extend my deep and sincere thanks to him and his dedicated staff for their thoughtfulness, expertise and advocacy on the JFC. Evan has been a tireless advocate for what’s right and for the people of Wisconsin, and he was an incredible mentor to me when I served on the committee.
“I am confident that Rep. McGuire and Rep. Andraca will make a great team on the committee, and I am excited to see their work as we continue fighting for a better Wisconsin for all of us.”
