MADISON, Wis. — Rep. Neubauer released the following statement after the conclusion of Governor Evers’ fifth State of the State Address:

“Once again, Governor Evers has delivered an address that speaks to the hard work and dedication he has led Wisconsin with over the past four years. Thanks to his steady leadership, Wisconsin is in one of the strongest financial positions ever and is in a strong place to tackle the pressing issues working families face.

“Tonight, Governor Evers laid out a visionary plan to make sure Wisconsin will continue to grow and thrive in the years to come. Under his leadership, we will make historic investments in our workforce and economy that will lead to better outcomes for Wisconsinites in every corner of our state. We will make sure our schools have the resources they need so that our students can grow up, find their calling, and live up to the Wisconsin Idea. And we will make significant investments in fighting climate change so that future generations of Wisconsinites can thrive in our state.

“As a leader on this issue, it is critically important that we find ways to provide job training and apprenticeship opportunities so that Wisconsinites can take advantage of these good-paying jobs as we move to a cleaner green energy economy.

“The next four years will be crucial to the long-term success of Wisconsin—and I’m so glad that Governor Evers is at the helm to lead us.”
