MADISON, Wis. — Rep. Neubauer released the following statement regarding the passing of former Governor Tony Earl:
“I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former Governor Tony Earl. As a fierce advocate for our environment and the LGBTQ+ community in Wisconsin, Governor Earl built a legacy that will far outlive him.
“While I didn’t have the pleasure of working with Governor Earl, I understand him to have been a thoughtful and dedicated public servant, always putting the people of Wisconsin first. My thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
