Madison – State Representative Adam Neylon (R-Pewaukee) issued the following statement in response to actions taken by the Joint Committee for Review of Administrative Rules (JCRAR) earlier today:

“Today JCRAR took several votes to maintain the checks and balances built into the Wisconsin Constitution. The legislature is a co-equal branch of government in the rulemaking process. These actions prevent overreach by the state’s executive agencies, whose role is to administer state law, not create new policy that goes beyond legislative intent.”
