MADISON – Today Governor Evers delivered his fifth State of the State Address. Governor Evers highlighted his accomplishments over the past four years and discussed what’s in store for Wisconsin’s future.
Representative Ohnstad released the following statement:
“Governor Evers’ commitment to making sure Wisconsin is a great place to live, learn, and work is certainly refreshing. His previous investments to expand small businesses across all 72 counties has been life-changing for thousands of small business owners as they faced extreme challenges through the course of the pandemic.”
“I’m excited to work with the Governor and my colleagues to maintain our strong economy, increase mental health resources, and expand access to affordable childcare. By working together, we can pass legislation that will have a positive impact on the lives of Wisconsin families.”
“Achieving a record low unemployment rate and one of the largest surpluses our state has ever seen is no small feat and I’m looking forward to Governor Evers continued leadership. He is doing exactly what our state needs to move forward and build a bright future for all.”
