MADISON, Wis. – In the state’s Capitol this afternoon, Representative Kristina Shelton (D-Green Bay) took her second oath to represent Wisconsin’s 90th district in the State Assembly. The Representative shared the following statement:

“I am so grateful to return to the Capitol building today to bring forth the voice of Green Bay.  Wisconsin’s 90th Assembly District is home to so many incredible businesses, schools, movements, and more – to be elected to continue to represent these people is an honor I do not take lightly.  By taking this oath, I promise to continue to support and represent the people of our community, as the people of the 90th have placed their trust in me to do so.

“Entering my second legislative term, I feel prepared to take on all the challenges that the new session will bring.  In my committee assignments, legislative priorities, and service to my constituents – I am more passionate than ever. Behind Governor Evers’ strong leadership, my fantastic colleagues in the Assembly and Senate, and with my family and friends to support me, I am empowered to move Wisconsin forward in the 2023-2024 session!”
