Madison, Wis. – Today, Representative Patrick Snyder (Schofield) took the oath of office to begin his fourth term as Representative for the 85th Assembly District. Following the Inauguration Ceremony, Representative Snyder made the following statement:

“I am honored to have been chosen by my friends and neighbors in the 85th Assembly District to represent them in Madison during the 106th Legislature of the State Assembly. I look forward to working with all my colleagues and Governor Evers to continue providing commonsense solutions for Wisconsin. I look forward to a productive session and getting to work on the upcoming state budget.”

In December, Representative Snyder was again selected by Assembly Speaker Robin Vos to serve as Chairman of the Committee on Children and Families for the 2023-2024 Legislative Session. Rep. Snyder concluded: 

“It is truly an honor to again Chair the Assembly Committee on Children and Families. I look forward to continuing the Committee’s important work of protecting children, solving child care challenges, improving adoption and foster care systems, and ensuring that Wisconsin remains a great place to raise a family.”

Rep. Snyder will also serve as a member of the following committees; Family Law, Government Accountability and Oversight, Veterans and Military Affairs, Ways and Means, and Workforce Development and Economic Opportunities.
