Madison, WI – Today, the Wisconsin State Senate held its first floor day of the 2023-24 legislative session. Senator Mary Felzkowski (R-Tomahawk) begins the second half of her first term as the State Senator for the 12th Senate District:

“I look forward to continuing my work in the Senate this upcoming session. I remain focused on these priorities:

  • Helping Wisconsinites access affordable healthcare by lowering the cost of prescription drugs and holding the healthcare industry accountable for predatory practices that inflate costs for patients
  • Finding new solutions to provide our local governments with the resources they need to deliver vital services to their communities
  • Preventing government from infringing on the personal liberties of our citizens”

This session, Sen. Felzkowski will serve as the Chair of the Senate Committee on Insurance and Small Business and will also sit on the Joint Committee on Finance, the Senate Committee on Health, the Senate Committee on Financial Institutions and Sporting Heritage, and the Joint
Legislative Council.

“As always, the work I do will be guided by my desire to provide opportunities for the people in the 12th Senate District and throughout Wisconsin. I remain humbled that I have been chosen to represent the voices of so many in the Northwoods.”
