Madison, WI – On Thursday morning, SB 299, related to exceptions for rape, incest, and life of the mother, was referred to the Senate Committee on Licensing, Constitution and Federalism. Sen. Felzkowski made the following statement:
“I find this referral perplexing. It disappoints me that the Senate President doesn’t trust his own caucus members, assigned to their committees of interest and expertise, to debate this issue fairly. I’m concerned that open, honest debate is being silenced by one member of our caucus.”
