MADISON – Today, State Senator Dianne Hesselbein (D – Middleton) released the following statement after Governor Tony Evers announced that he appointed former State Senator Jon Erpenbach as chair of the Parole Commission:
“Jon is an incredible statesman who served our community for over twenty years and I am pleased to see him continue to serve all Wisconsinites as the new Parole Commission Chair. I can think of no one who better understands the importance of criminal justice reform and public safety than Jon. I have full faith and confidence that Jon will bring his strong sense of justice and commitment to serving the people of Wisconsin to this new role.”
