Madison – Senator Jesse James (R- Altoona) issued a statement regarding today’s shared revenue announcement:

“Today we celebrate providing our local governments with historic funding, as well as supporting our local law enforcement entities and bolstering school choice. I applaud my colleagues for their hard work in ironing out these details.”

“I want constituents to know that we have heard their requests to support local entities, fund EMS, increase funds for public schools, and remove the obsolete personal property tax.”

“This is a positive step for our state, and I believe that we can look forward to more great decisions in our upcoming 2023-2025 budget.”
