Madison, WI – Sen. Howard Marklein (R-Spring Green) issued a statement today following the Joint Committee on Employment Relations (JCOER) vote on the University of Wisconsin (UW) System compensation plan:
“I am very pleased that JCOER finally approved the compensation plan for UW employees. I have been fighting for these raises for months and I am glad that we approved the compensation plan today.
“The custodians, executive assistants, food service providers, and faculty at our universities, like UW Platteville, work hard to provide a world-class experience for our students. I am glad that we recognized that effort today.”
