MADISON – Today, State Senator Mark Spreitzer (D-Beloit) was unanimously elected by his Democratic colleagues in the Wisconsin State Senate to serve as the Senate Democratic Caucus Vice-Chair for the remainder of the 2023-2024 legislative session. Senator Spreitzer released the following statement:

Sen. Spreitzer was elected to replace Sen. Dianne Hesselbein (D-Middleton) as Senate Democratic Caucus Vice-Chair after Sen. Hesselbein’s recent election as Senate Democratic Leader.
