MADISON, WI – Today, the Wisconsin State Senate Democratic Committee (SSDC) named Andrew Whitley its new Executive Director.

“My colleagues and I are truly excited to welcome Andrew to the SSDC,” said Senate Democratic Leader Melissa Agard. “He’s managed and won tough races, flipped legislative chambers, and brings the experience and drive needed to put Democrats back into the majority. I look forward to working with him in this important election cycle where we are committed to electing more Democrats in every nook and cranny of our State.”

“Given the success of Wisconsin Democrats in the last two elections, make no mistake, SSDC is on offense,” said SSDC Executive Director Andrew Whitley. “We are committed to giving every Wisconsinite a choice next November – between the same tired, corrupt, radical politics that Wisconsin Republicans embrace compared to the steady, commonsense, practical leadership of Democrats. I’m excited to get to work and put Democrats back into majority once again.”

Andrew joins the SSDC after managing Sen. Brad Pfaff’s congressional run in the 3rd Congressional District last cycle. Before that, he was the Executive Director of the Democratic Party of Virginia, ran the 2019 coordinated campaign that resulted in flipping both legislative chambers in Virginia, and has worked on numerous races across the country – from Nevada and Pennsylvania to Iowa and Kentucky.
