WASHINGTON – On Monday, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) joined Jesse Watters on Jesse Watters Prime Time to react to the sham investigation within our multi-tiered justice system that has produced the predictable result: Hunter gets off with a light slap on the wrist, and the public will not learn the truth.
When President Biden lied and said Hunter “has done nothing wrong,” what he really meant to say was: “Hunter will never be held accountable for his actions.” Yesterday’s announcement that Hunter will plead guilty to low-level charges will further reduce confidence in federal law enforcement.

On our multi-tiered justice system covering up for the Biden Crime Family
“Well first of all, this stinks to high heaven. It certainly proves we do not have equal application of justice under the law. And what I’ve always been concerned about by the way, is that they would enter into some kind of plea deal to, you know, lesser charges, and my concern further is that they will seal all the records. What a great way to sweep Chuck Grassley’s whistleblower, talking about a $10 million bribery scheme under the rug just saying ‘Oh, yeah, we looked into it. There’s nothing to it.’ So what we need to do to it is we need to continue to press for congressional oversight. Unfortunately, Senator Grassley and I don’t have chairmanships, we don’t have subpoena power, I think James Comer is doing a great job, so is Jim Jordan, we just need to keep making the case and start pointing out all the corruption of the Biden family. There’s so much that should have been investigated here. I mean, let’s talk about the paid escorts. I mean, Hunter Biden paid tens of thousands dollars to women who were trafficked through an international sex trafficking ring and President Joe Biden’s still proud of his son? What about his involvement in the tribal bond fraud scheme that his business partner is now standing convicted of? And those conspirators said, ‘You know we ought to put a little honey in Hunter’s pocket.’ I mean, I could go on and on. There is so much that should have been investigated, but we have whistleblowers who’ve said that Attorney Weiss didn’t have the resources to do a proper investigation, and of course, we have the whistleblower from the IRS saying that he was pulled off the case in an unprecedented fashion with the rest of his team. There is so much here that is just disgusting.”
On concerns that the Department of Justice will seal the records in this case
“Well, that concerns me as well, because our investigation was frustrated because John Durham had an active investigation. This is what the FBI, the Department of Justice does all the time to frustrate congressional oversight. If they don’t want to turn something over, they just say, ‘oh we’re investigating that,’ like the fraudulent, the corrupt, investigation of the Trump collusion hoax. You know, I subpoenaed Christopher Wray for those records, but we couldn’t get any of them because there’s an active investigation. So that also stinks to high heaven, but they would say ‘There’s an ongoing investigation.’ I think that’s just an obstruction move to obstruct congressional oversight.”
On the FBI redacting informant files on alleged Biden bribery scheme
“I’ve gotten hundreds of pages that were completely blacked out. And again, I’m sure James Comer is going to go aggressively after this, but he won’t be able to do much if the Department of Justice withholds things. Let’s face it, they redacted a key part of the 1023. Senator Grassley saw it, but they still redact the fact that there might be 17 recordings of the Bidens being bribed. Why would they do that? Other than the answer would be corruption.
On Department of Justice corruption and obstruction
“They certainly obstructed our investigation. Remember, we had an unsolicited briefing by the FBI that was later leaked to the press to smear me interfering in the Wisconsin 22’ election. They knew in October 2016 that the Steele Dossier was sourced by a Russian potential spy. The FBI was investigating this guy as a Russian spy. So we understand how corrupt the FBI was when it came to investigating Trump, and that corruption just continues.”
