Madison, WI – Wisconsin State Senator Cory Tomczyk (R-Mosinee) issued the following statement regarding the Governor’s Budget Address.
“The Governor’s wish list of far-left priorities proposed tonight is just that: a wish list. Instead of being fiscally responsible, Governor Evers wants to recklessly drain our budget surplus and leave Wisconsin in a vulnerable financial state.
Now that the Governor’s song and dance is over, the Republican Legislature can get to work crafting a real budget that is balanced and works for everyone. I didn’t run for office to grow government and waste the tax dollars that my constituents worked extremely hard for. This proposal is a mess and will be rejected immediately!”
