MADISON, Wis. – on January 7, 2023, Wisconsin College Republicans (WICR) Chairman William Terry officially announced his resignation from the position after preparing for his graduation from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Following constitutional procedure laid out in Article IV, Section 4, Subsection A of the WICR Constitution the Vice Chairman assumes the position of Chair. Thus, we are pleased to announce that effective 12:01 AM on January 28, 2023 William Alexander Blathras has assumed the role of Chairman for the Wisconsin College Republicans. Chairman Blathras released the following statement at the conclusion of the State Executive Board meeting tonight:
“I thank Will for his tenure as Chair of this organization, it has been great working with him in my roles on his board. I will continue to look towards him for guidance as I complete the remainder of his term before the upcoming convention this spring and in his role as the Treasurer of the National Federation of College Republicans.”
Additionally, Western Regional Vice Chair, Kaden Crapp, Chairman of UW-Platteville College Republicans was selected to serve as Vice Chairman.
