The Wisconsin Towns Association recognized Senator Felzkowski and Representative Kurtz at its annual business meeting recently for their extraordinary leadership shepherding Act 12 through the legislative process. Each legislator was greeted with standing applause as they took the stage to be recognized in front of town representatives from every corner of the state.
“The shared revenue bill provides critical additional funding to local governments, allowing them to continue providing necessary services expected by all Wisconsin citizens,” said Jerry Derr, President of the Wisconsin Towns Association. “It is because of the leadership and unwavering support for local government from Senator Felzkowski and Representative Kurtz that these historic increases became possible.”
Mike Koles, WTA Executive Director, added, “Wisconsin’s local governments owe a debt of gratitude to Senator Felzkowski and Representative Kurtz for their efforts throughout this process.” “Act 12 would not have occurred without the exceptional leadership, patience, and tireless dedication of these legislators.”
WTA thanks Senator Felzkowski, Representative Kurtz, and all those who worked to make Act 12 a reality.
