MADISON, Wis. — On Sunday, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin’s Administrative Committee formally adopted the Party’s 2024 Delegate Selection plan. The plan adopted will determine the selection of 87 delegates and 6 alternates to the 2024 Democratic National Convention, to be held in Chicago, Illinois. Delegates to the Democratic National Convention will vote for the Democratic presidential and vice presidential nominees, as well as other Party resolutions, platforms and governing rules.
Any qualified Wisconsin elector who subscribes to the beliefs of the Democratic Party is eligible to run for a spot as a convention delegate in Chicago. The Party is committed to sending the most diverse delegation possible to the Chicago Democratic National Convention in 2024 and encourages all interested individuals to run for a position.
