MADISON, Wis. — Days after pronouncing that “bad press has never bothered me”, Derrick Van Orden now appears to be bothered by bad press, abruptly canceling a press conference scheduled for this afternoon in the La Crosse area.
After reporting this morning that Van Orden would speak to press this afternoon in the town of Campbell, WKBT’s News 8 Now announced in its noon newscast that Van Orden’s event was canceled.
