MADISON, Wis. — Eric Hovde (R–Laguna Beach) left the comfort of his $10 million oceanside mansion in Laguna Beach, California to make it just in time for the Wisconsin Republican State Convention this weekend, as he starts to make his case that a California carpetbagger is a good fit to represent America’s Dairyland in the U.S. Senate.
Hovde’s chauffeur was spotted at the La Crosse airport waiting for him from his trip in from Laguna Beach.
“We hope California Hovde had a safe trip to La Crosse from his Laguna Beach mansion. As Republicans continue to scramble to find a candidate for U.S. Senate, California Hovde is back once again to pitch his extreme and out of touch policies in Wisconsin,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Rapid Response Director Arik Wolk.
