MADISON, Wis. — According to a new report from the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty, an examination of state campaign finance records found “that the vast majority of donors who identified themselves as teachers have contributed to Democratic candidates and Democratic-affiliated organizations.”

The Democratic Party of Wisconsin is proud to be in the fight for strong, safe neighborhood public schools. Under Gov. Evers’ leadership, we’ve seen historic investments in K-12 education in Wisconsin, including the first increase in special education funding in a decade.

“As WILL’s new report highlights, Wisconsin teachers are chipping in what they can to support candidates committed to safe, strong neighborhood public schools,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Communications Director Joe Oslund. “Wisconsin Democrats are deeply proud to have the strong support of public school teachers from across our state.”
