MADISON, Wis. — In response to new comments today from Robin Vos further walking back his unlawful threats to impeach Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Janet Protasiewicz, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Ben Wikler released the following statement:
“Robin Vos is finally acknowledging what became clear weeks ago: his unconstitutional threat to overturn a Supreme Court election through a groundless impeachment has gone up in smoke. Robin Vos’ walk-back in response to the outcry and organizing of grassroots Wisconsinites marks a new era of accountability for Vos. Now, as he ramps up his divisive war on diversity, Vos should remember that his bullying and power grabs can backfire not just for him, but for the entire Wisconsin Republican Party.”
