Madison, WI – Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin (AFP-WI) today announced it will support six additional candidates in its final slate of state legislative endorsements ahead of the general election on November 5th, 2024.

AFP-WI will endorse Rep. Joy Goeben (AD-05), Rep. Travis Tranel (AD-49), Rep. Clint Moses (AD-92), Ben Franklin (AD-88), Patrick Buckley (AD-89), and Michele Magadance Skinner (AD-91) in their races for the Wisconsin State Assembly.

AFP-WI previously announced the endorsement of the following candidates: Sen. Duey Stroebel (SD-08), Sen. Rob Stafsholt (SD-10), Sen. Dan Knodl (AD-24), Rep. Nate Gustafson (AD-55), Rep. Shannon Zimmerman (AD-30), Rep. William Penterman (AD-38), and Jim Rafter (SD 30).

The state’s premier grassroots organization is prepared to deploy its full weight of grassroots capabilities behind these thirteen candidates, including canvassing, mail, and digital ads, to help elect these principled leaders come November 5th.

AFP-WI State Director Megan Novak made the following statement:

Endorsed Candidates:

State Rep. Joy Goeben (AD-05)

As a former public-school teacher and homeschool mom, Rep. Goeben is a key ally in protecting education freedom. On health care, she supports efforts to expand scope of practice and hospital transparency—expanding health care access for all Wisconsinites. She has been instrumental in efforts to provide tax relief for hardworking families.

State Rep. Travis Tranel (AD-49)

Rep. Tranel is a key policy partner on energy abundance and education opportunity. He continues to defend hardworking Wisconsinites against burdensome energy policies that lead to increased energy bills. He is an advocate for education opportunity and supports tax relief for the middle-class.

State Rep. Clint Moses (AD-92)

As chairman of the Health Committee, Rep. Moses is a leader on advancing necessary health care policies that would expand health care access in communities across the state. He is a retired school board member who will continue to defend Wisconsin’s school choice program and continue to secure tax cuts for hardworking Wisconsinites.

Ben Franklin (AD-88)

As a small business owner, Franklin will play a crucial role in advancing and protecting conservative economic reforms. He promises to champion education freedom and support reforms that will provide better access to health care for all Wisconsinites.

Patrick Buckley (AD-89)

As a former law enforcement officer, Buckley understands the rule of law and will be a great asset to further criminal justice reforms. He is a small business owner who supports measures to reduce taxes and burdensome regulations so Wisconsin families and businesses can achieve prosperity.

Michele Magadance Skinner (AD-91)

Skinner will be a strong advocate in advancing much needed health care and housing reforms. She will be a consistent voice for fiscal responsibility and increasing opportunities for hardworking Wisconsinites.
