Madison, WI… Senator Joan Ballweg, incumbent senator for the 14th Senate District and candidate for re-election, has been endorsed by Volunteers for Agriculture, the political action committee of the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation.

The letter announcing Ballweg’s endorsement states that she was endorsed due to the Farm Bureau’s confidence in her commitment to agriculture, rural issues and the Wisconsin Farm Bureau.

“I am grateful to have the endorsement of Volunteers for Agriculture in my campaign for re-election to the Wisconsin State Senate,” said Ballweg. “During my time in the legislature, I have always had a passion for working on issues that support the state’s agricultural economy. I look forward to the opportunity to return to Madison and continue my work supporting the farmers of the 14th Senate District and the State of Wisconsin.”

Joan Ballweg was elected to her first four-year term in the Wisconsin State Senate in 2020 and is running for re-election. Throughout her time in the legislature, Ballweg has worked with members of both parties to champion legislation that delivers meaningful assistance to the state’s agricultural industry and the farmers, agricultural workers, families and businesses who support their success. This session, she served as Chair of the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Tourism and supported major investments in agriculture and rural issues as a member of the Joint Committee on Finance.
