1st Congressional District candidate Peter Barca, D-Kenosha, launched “Different Styles,” a six-figure TV ad running in the Milwaukee media market.
The 30-second ad knocks Barca’s opponent U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil, R-Janesville, for his stance on abortion. The ad said Steil’s agenda would ban abortion “nationwide, with surveillance of pregnancies and restricting birth control and fertility treatments.”
Meanwhile, it praised Barca’s position on abortion.
“Peter Barca fights to protect our freedoms, not tear them away,” the ad said. “He backs Wisconsin’s law enforcement, firefighters, and unions.”
It is Barca’s first ad of the 2024 campaign cycle and will run on broadcast and digital platforms.
