(Washington, D.C.) No Labels – a national movement of commonsense Americans working to give power to the middle in politics and government – today awarded its Problem Solver Seal to congressional candidate Rebecca Cooke, a Democrat running in Wisconsin’s 3rd district. The Problem Solver Seal is No Labels’ official stamp of approval for a candidate or elected official.
“Everyday Americans are starving for leaders who will seek to unite rather than divide, to solve problems rather than grandstand,” said former Congressman Kurt Schrader, who helped lead the House Problem Solvers Caucus. “Rebecca Cooke is that leader. Rebecca’s race will help determine the real balance of power in Washington, which is the balance between the extremes and the middle. She is running as a voice of commonsense at a time when moderation is desperately needed on both sides.”
As a recipient of the No Labels Problem Solver Seal, Rebecca Cooke has made three public commitments. She will:
- Support key elements of No Labels’ Country First, Common Sense policy agenda.
- Be a champion for two party solutions on the most pressing issues facing the nation.
- Regularly attend No Labels-hosted bicameral meetings, which bring together House and Senate members from both parties to discuss bipartisan legislation.
No Labels is a national movement of commonsense Americans pushing our leaders together to solve our country’s biggest problems.
