EAU CLAIRE, Wisc. — Today, State Senator Brad Pfaff endorsed Rebecca Cooke’s campaign for Congress in Wisconsin’s Third District. Pfaff, who represents Crawford, La Crosse, Vernon, and southern Monroe counties, was the 2022 nominee for Congress in WI-03. Pfaff’s backing adds to the growing excitement around Cooke’s campaign as labor, trusted organizations, and local leaders overwhelmingly declare their strong support.
“I am proud to endorse Rebecca Cooke for Congress. Rebecca will always put Wisconsin’s working people first – because that is who she is and who she has always been. We need to elect someone who will fight for our family farmers, protect our rights and freedoms, and work to lower costs for families, and I know Rebecca will do just that. I am proud to endorse her because she will work hard to solve the problems facing our communities and bring common sense back to Congress.” said State Senator Brad Pfaff.
“I am honored to earn State Senator Brad Pfaff’s support in this important race. He understands the needs of our communities and is a public servant through and through who always puts Wisconsin families first. In Congress, I look forward to working with Senator Pfaff to deliver the healthcare and opportunity working people deserve. That means relentlessly fighting to protect abortion rights, support our farmers and create good jobs. This campaign has lots of momentum as we build the broad coalition needed to win this race and send Derrick Van Orden packing,” said Rebecca Cooke.
Cooke has been endorsed by over a dozen labor unions, leaders, and organizations, including the Blue Dog PAC, New Democrats Coalition, EMILYs List, Communications Workers of America (CWA), American Postal Workers Union (APWU), Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU), members of Congress Rep. Sharice Davids (D-KS), Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME), Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA), Rep. Mike Thompson (D-CA), Rep. Brad Schneider (IL-10), and Rep. Raul Ruiz (D-CA), among others.
