Evers says he’s picked new DNR secretary

Gov. Tony Evers says he’s selected someone to lead the Department of Natural Resources after a more than yearlong vacancy and expects to announce the pick “very, very soon.”
The Dem guv spoke with reporters after a Capitol Holiday Tree lighting ceremony yesterday. He also indicated he’s chosen a woman to head the agency, but declined to name her.
