Tim Cullen was of the people and for the people. The people were the fine folks of Janesville, Wisconsin. Tim for over 50 years in or out of office had representative democracy as part of his soul. He leaves us with a record of living this life in his trilogy of books that are his memoirs: “My Ringside Seat”, “Janesville” and “Wisconsin Gerrymandering: the fight for fair maps”.
We were political partners, dear friends and then officially old friends. Tim liked to say he was “just an Irish politician”. Remember Tim on St. Patrick’s day. He would like that.
