Today, in Appleton and Green Bay, Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez spoke at WisDems canvass launches as part of the Harris-Walz campaign’s New Way Forward battleground tour to mobilize support, drive enthusiasm, and reach the voters who will decide this election as we approach the closing weeks of the campaign.

With fewer than 55 days until Election Day, she underscored the contrast between Vice President Harris and Governor Walz’s vision for a brighter, more hopeful future versus Donald Trump and JD Vance’s Project 2025 agenda that will give Trump unprecedented, unchecked power to enact his extreme and dangerous agenda.

“Vice President Harris has done her job, and now it is time to do ours. This is a New Way Forward, and we cannot allow Donald Trump to be in the White House again,” said Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez. “Project 2025 is his roadmap. These are the types of things he will be implementing: getting rid of the Department of Education, a nationwide abortion ban. These are not popular policies, and why he is trying to run away from Project 2025, but that is what’s on the line.”
