Today, Senator Elizabeth Warren kicked off her two-day tour of Wisconsin to campaign for Team Harris-Walz with stops in Grafton and Manitowoc. In Grafton, Senator Warren rallied voters around Vice President Harris’ record on lowering costs for hard working Wisconsin families, including by protecting and strengthening the Affordable Care Act, capping the cost of insulin at $35 for seniors on Medicare, and slashing prescription drug costs.

While Vice President Harris and Governor Walz are fighting to lower costs for working families, Donald Trump and JD Vance would increase costs for Wisconsinites. Trump’s extreme Project 2025 agenda would repeal the Affordable Care Act, cut Social Security and Medicare, and raise costs on middle-class families by $3,900 a year while giving more tax breaks to the ultra-rich and biggest corporations.

“When it comes to fighting for families, I trust Vice President Harris. She has good plans to lower the cost of groceries, build more housing, cut taxes for the middle class — while Donald Trump has no plan but tax giveaways for his billionaire donors and giant corporations,” said Senator Elizabeth Warren. “I’m back in the Badger State because the people of Wisconsin deserve leaders who will fight for all our families. That’s Kamala Harris and Coach Walz.”

In Manitowoc, Senator Warren was joined by Manitowoc County Democratic Party Chair Jim Hollahan and Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels for a panel discussion highlighting the stark contrast between Vice President Harris’ record of lowering costs for working Wisconsinites and Trump’s Project 2025 agenda to give tax breaks to billionaires at the expense of middle-class families. In addition to the events in Grafton and Manitowoc, Senator Warren will hold a campaign event in Door County this evening. She will also make stops in Green Bay, Appleton, and Oshkosh tomorrow.
