Wisconsin Democratic Coordinated Campaign Rapid Response Director Kristi Johnston released the following statement in response to far-right conspiracy theorist with ties to white supremacists Jack Posobiec talking about “election protection” on behalf of Donald Trump in Wisconsin:
“Donald Trump is sending a dangerous extremist who helped him try to overturn the 2020 election to talk about ‘election protection’ in Wisconsin. Jack Posobiec is guaranteed to push the same dangerous lies that inspired a mob to assault police officers and storm the Capitol on January 6 in a bid to keep Trump in power. If Trump gets reelected, he will use those same extremists like Posobiec to execute on Trump’s Project 2025 agenda to give him complete control: overhauling the DOJ, giving him virtually unchecked legal power to seek revenge on his political enemies, and controlling women’s bodies. Plain and simple: Donald Trump is too extreme for Wisconsin.”
