MADISON – This week, The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Wisconsin entrepreneur Eric Hovde for the United States Senate. Following the NFIB endorsement, Eric Hovde released the statement below:

“I am honored to be endorsed by The National Federation of Independent Business. As an entrepreneur who started multiple small businesses, I understand the challenges of running a business, and the issues that affect small business owners. Throughout my campaign, I have heard directly from Wisconsin business owners who are struggling because of record-high inflation and never ending regulations. We must get our economy back on track and ensure Wisconsin businesses and families are able to thrive. As your U.S. Senator, I will work to lower costs and end burdensome regulations, restoring the American Dream.”

“Eric Hovde is an experienced, successful entrepreneur who understands the issues important to small business,” said Bill G. Smith, NFIB Wisconsin State Director. “We are confident he will be a strong advocate for Wisconsin’s small business community in the U.S. Senate.”

“We know Eric Hovde will be a reliable small business advocate in the U.S. Senate,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “He deeply understands the issues our members are facing and his prior experience as a businessman will be exceptionally beneficial when debating policy in Congress. We are proud to endorse him today.”
