GOP U.S. Senate candidate Eric Hovde and the National Republican Senatorial Committee launched a pair of new ads that hit Dem U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin and Kamala Harris on transgender issues and immigration.

The NRSC and Hovde have $1.8 million in reservations this week through Oct. 1. The hybrid buys allow the NRSC to pay the lower rate that candidates receive. But those spots must focus on the party as well as a candidate.

One of the spots shows clips from ads hitting Hovde as the narrator says Dems are spending millions on deceptive ads “that lie and try to confuse you” because they don’t want you to focus on Baldwin and Harris’ “radical record” of allowing men to compete in girls spots, funding a clinic that offers transgender therapy to minors without parents consent and giving stimulus checks to “illegals.”

The spot closes, “While Wisconsin families struggle, Baldwin and Democrats want you to focus on anything but their radical agenda.”

A second ad includes a similar message, saying while “families struggle to pay bills,” Harris and Dems are wasting taxpayer dollars on “checks to illegal immigrants,” funding the Madison clinic mentioned in the other ad and “pushing high schools to allow boys to compete in girls sports.”

“Senator Baldwin fights for this madness,” the spot concludes. “Tammy Baldwin, radical, extreme and wrong.”
