DELAFIELD, WI: Following a Dane County judge’s ruling related to $50 million in literacy funding, IRG’s CEO CJ Szafir issued the following statement:
“The Court’s ruling gives Wisconsin a chance to get reading right for kids. As the Legislature intended, the $50 million should first go to reimburse curriculum purchases and teacher training. Delaying payment until 2026, as DPI has proposed, is simply not what leading literacy states do.”
