Just before the Holiday Season, the Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin, Sara Rodriguez, completed her 2nd consecutive tour of all of Wisconsin’s 72 counties, concluding with a stop of the Woodland Boys and Girls Club in Neopit.
“Ever since being sworn-in as Lt. Governor alongside Governor Evers in 2023, I have made it a focus of my office to ensure that I have a chance to visit each and every county throughout our great state over the course of the year,” said the Lt. Governor, “I’m proud to say that for the second straight year, my office has completed its second round trip across our state. From UTV rides with Sawyer County officials while discussing outdoors tourism, touring the historic Sprecher Brewery in Milwaukee, to meeting some of the best chocolatiers in the world at the Mayana Chocolate company in Spooner, my office and I have had some incredible meetings and conversations this year.
“Our job as elected officials is to put Wisconsin and citizens in the best position possible to succeed, and one can’t hope to do that without being willing and able to connect with people where they live. I have learned so much over the last two years by connecting with countless business owners, healthcare professionals, non-profit leaders, and local government officials to discuss their success, their struggles, and how the State of Wisconsin can best support them to make our local communities a better place for all.”
The Lt. Governor will restart her statewide tour anew in 2025 and will aim to complete all 72 counties once again before the year is complete.
