As Americans grapple to pay their bills and decide between feeding their family or putting gas in their car,  Kamala Harris is preparing to walk onto tonight’s debate stage. And what will she say? Probably something along the lines of, “Bidenomics is working!”

Americans aren’t buying it. Here’s what they’re saying across the country:

CALIFORNIA

“The truth is that Harris’ economic plan is built on false promises and a radical Left ideology. Her support for Soviet-style price controls is a direct assault on the free market and would do nothing but lead to shortages, stifle growth, and exacerbate inflation. Just ask Russia how price controls and other socialist policies worked for them in the 1980s.” – Abel Maldonado, California’s 46th Lieutenant Governor

Townhall: On Debate Night, Americans Have Over 27,000 Reasons to Fire Kamala Harris

PENNSYLVANIA

“Skyrocketing prices are affecting everything, ranging from a cheeseburger to a ticket to a Phillies game. A Pitts-Burger and Cheese from Primanti Bros. has risen by over 37% since 2019, while beer at a Phillies game has increased by more than 28%…Pennsylvania deserves leadership that puts hardworking families first. It’s time to fire Harris and bring back the Trump economic boom that prioritized job growth and economic stability for all Americans.” – Kaelan Dorr,  strategic communications adviser and special projects manager in the Trump administration, chief marketing officer for Donald Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign

The Philadelphia Inquirer: Letters to the Editor

GEORGIA

“As a 29-year small-business owner in Georgia, I’ve seen firsthand how tough things have gotten over the past few years. Vice President Kamala Harris is stepping onto the debate stage soon, but the real question is: Are we better off than we were four years ago?

From where I’m standing, the answer is no.” – Bruce LeVell

Atlanta Journal-Constitution: On debate night, the economy will be top of mind for Georgia families

ARIZONA

“Biden-Harris inflation has hit Arizona hard, and the cause is clear: their administration’s reckless spending and socialist economic policies, from higher taxes and burdensome regulations to their war on American energy. But when Harris takes the debate stage, expect her to try to distract from her economic failures by rehashing tired talking points and dodging real questions about her agenda’s impact on hard-working Arizonans.” – Monica Crowley,  Assistant Secretary of the Treasury in the Trump Administration from 2019-2021

WISCONSIN

“As Wisconsinites grapple with rising prices, inflation has become the number one issue for voters across our state. The Biden-Harris administration’s economic policies have led to historic inflation, making it nearly impossible for many American families to make ends meet. We feel the reality of these failed policies every day as we go to the grocery store and pay for gas and electric bills.” – Congressman Tom Tiffany
