Milwaukee Public Schools to see $49.3M decrease in school aid

Milwaukee Public Schools will see a $49.3 million decrease in general school aid for the school year, according to data from the Department of Public Instruction, about $42 million of that due to previous reporting errors by the district.  The district will receive $587.2 million for the 2024-25 school year.
