The Dem group Opportunity Wisconsin has launched a new TV ad targeting GOP U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil, this time accusing the 1st CD congressman of siding with drug companies rather than voting to cap insulin prices.

The group said the ad began Monday and is part of a previously announced seven-figure paid media campaign. The group said the ad is running on Milwaukee broadcast TV, but didn’t release other details.

The ad features a woman identified as Diana T., of Kenosha. She said insulin used to cost hundreds of dollars, but she didn’t take the amount she was supposed to because she couldn’t afford it.

The ad plays a clip of a news report that the drug had been capped at $35 for seniors on Medicare, and Diana says Steil voted to keep prices high and sided with the drug industry.

“Now he wants more tax breaks that would benefit rich drug company executives,” she says to close the spot. “I don’t think Bryan Steil cares if we pay more.”
