Madison, Wis. – Today Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin released their final endorsements for the Fall 2024 election, including in the race for Dane County Executive.
Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin is proud to endorse Melissa Agard for Dane County Executive.
“From supporting the repeal of the 1849 law to making the case for constitutionally protecting birth control to reinstating medically accurate age-appropriate sex education, Melissa Agard has been a champion for reproductive freedom and health care throughout her career as an elected official,” said Steven Webb II, Executive Director of Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin. “We know that as Dane County Executive, Agard will be a partner to Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin as we work to protect and expand reproductive rights.”
The endorsed state legislative candidates are leaders who support the full spectrum of reproductive health care and use their power to protect and expand reproductive rights for the communities they represent and all Wisconsinites.
“For the health of Wisconsin families and communities, it is critical for our elected officials to represent the values of their constituents. Time and again people across the state have made it clear that Wisconsinites value, and understand the need for, access to the full range of reproductive health care. They value and trust themselves, their friends, families, neighbors to make their own health care decisions. These candidates embrace those values,” said Webb II.
